A Jonathan Budd Review From Someone Who's NOT Involved
73Jonathan Budd
So Who's This Jonathan Budd Kid, Anyways?
Jonathan Budd, sometimes misspelled as Johnathan Budd, is one of the most well known network marketers on planet earth. In fact, it's almost impossible to research an MLM opportunity without running into either his name or a few of his ads. He's everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if I searched for my own name and ran into one of his pages, because that's exactly what he's a master at - getting his content all over the internet in all of the most important places to search.
Jonathan's got a great story, and it's worth telling. He started off as a measly broke kid in Network Marketing a few years back, and he was living in a spare room at his parent's house and building his business from the kitchen. Within a couple of years, he was earning over a million dollars a year, and getting more leads than 99% of everyone in the network marketing profession. Jonathan Budd has trained some of the superstars in Network Marketing, the most noteable being the top recruiter in Genewize, Katie Freiling. However, the stories just keep rolling in, year after year. Now before you puke, I want you to understand that I'm not personally involved or affiliated with Jonathan Budd in any way, so I'm going to give you the whole story, good and bad. First, though, I want to briefly cover the different products and services that Jonathan Budd Sells through his system.
Here's A Third Party Review On Each Of Jonathan Budd's Main Products:
The 7 Figure Networker System was designed by Jonathan Budd to allow distributors in all MLM companies to market their business online in a way that is attractive, while simultaneously allowing them to earn profits from various affiliate products and services that are automatically promoted via the system.
This is not the only marketing system like this out there, however, I have to say that it is ONE of the best. (I don't believe it is the very best system, or I would be personally using it for my own websites). However, out of the several hundred customizable MLM systems that exist, Jonathan Budd's is in the top five as far as effectiveness, versatility, and scope of use.
Essentially, the way it works is that you sign up for a $1 trial for the first 14 days, and then pay $47 per month in order to use and customize the system to your own company, products, and opportunity. You can also choose also to market the system on the front end, and have it gradually bring prospects through a sales process that leads to your opportunity. Overall, I would have to give the 7 Figure Networker System by Jonathan Budd a 4.5 out of 5 stars rating. It is one of the best in the industry.
If you're unsure about whether to use the 7 Figure Networker System, I would encourage you to simply give it a try for a couple of weeks and let us know your thoughts on this review.
The Online MLM Secrets Mastery CD – Really I don't have much to say about this CD, except for the fact that I commend Jonathan Budd for using one of the most brilliant marketing tactics of the 21st century. The first person to offer a $7, or a FREE CD with $7 shipping was Matt Bacak, and he proved that it was a great way to weed out leads that don't have any money. Plus, it's an irresistible offer - you get to learn the 'Secrets' that allow you to go from broke to a Multi-Million dollar producer for just $7 - who can stop themselves from being tempted?
I remember when I ordered Matt Bacak's free CD in 2005, I was automatically subscribed to his 'inner circle', which was a $30 monthly membership to a powerful internet marketing newsletter. It was easy enough to cancel, but the brilliance of the idea was just great. Jonathan Budd offers a similar, except you're not automatically upgraded, you actually have to check a box to get his 'inner circle' information.
A couple of idiots on the internet bought Jonathan's CD, checked the box without realizing it, and posted information all over the universe saying that Jonathan Budd scammed them for $30 or $40 or something. Anyone who buys things and checks all of the boxes on the screen without reading what it's for should not be allowed to touch a computer - they're idiots, and Jonathan Budd is not a scam artist by any stretch of the imagination like they claim. In fact, I would say that out of the 14 million wanna be online millionaires, trainers, and gurus in cyberspace, that Jonathan has one of the most value packed systems that exists. Plus, anyone who's going to take 10 hours of their time complaining about $30 isn't worth listening to. What it basically means is that their time is worth less than $3 an hour, and they would rather bash someone else's system than spend the effort an energy to create wealth. Go figure.
That being said, I haven't bothered spending much time with any of his products, because I already rank better for everything that I create than 99% of Jonathan Budd's students, but for the average person just getting started in building online MLM empires, I haven't found very many better training resources, and it's a great place to spend your money. There's not any investment that will pay you more in the end than investing in your own personal growth and education, and that's exactly what Jonathan Budd offers.
The Top Producer Formula – This is Jonathan's 'Ultimate Upsell' product where he reveals all of his online strategies in one course set. Unfortunately for many people who want it, it has been pulled from the market (as it sold nearly 500 copies in it's first 72 hours.) I listened to most of this course, and I'll have to give it 2 thumbs up, although there were only a couple of things I learned from it that I wasn't already applying in my business, and I also do a bunch of things that are valuable that I didn't find in this course. However, had I had this information seven years ago, it would have taken years off of my learning curve, and I can definitely say that it's one of the most valuable resources around. I'm expecting that Jonathan Budd will update this and re-release it once or twice per year, selling limited copies each time (that way there's a great deal of urgency surrounding every new release, and more people buy it, faster). Mike Dillard does the same thing with 'Traffic Formula 2.0' and other online marketers have sold similar kinds of courses now for years.
If you've got the money the next time Jonathan does the product release and you want to shorten your learning curve, I can highly recommend this product, although there are several others that I feel provide equivalent value or are even more clear in their application.
The Mastermind Mentoring, Coaching, And Training Transformation Program – If I were going to recommend one thing of Jonathan's, it would be his coaching and mentoring program. Mentoring is one of the most powerful success principles in existence, and every prosperous business person has at least one mentor that they accredit much of their success to. Not everyone is going to need this, but if you can, running through this coaching program will have great value for anyone who does it, even the seasoned veteran.
I'm not going to spend a lot of time talking about this, because I haven't bothered going through it (I have other mentors, though). What I can say about it is that Jonathan Budd knows online marketing better than 99.9% of the internet marketing universe, and if that's the main outlet for sponsoring and promoting your business, it would be of great value to you if you're not already getting 100 or more leads per day.
So Is There Anywhere That Jonathan Budd Misses The Boat?
As far as his range of specific expertise, there aren't very many people out there who have a more comprehensive skill set in the area of online Network Marketing. However, it should be noted that he isn't the best advisor for offline, in person MLM strategies. That may change over time, and he may become more well rounded over time, but my perspective in viewing his training information is that he focuses almost entirely on branding himself through internet based strategies.
I might get quite a few people who 'balk' at the idea, but the fact is that the people who earn the most money in the MLM profession from actual Network Marketing companies are people who have built their organizations through warm market, traditional strategies.
Now that's not the way that I build, either, and I don't think it's the most effective way for a new person to the industry. However, I have to acknowledge the truth, and the truth is that if you completely ignore warm market strategies it takes ten times longer to build a residual income and to build a team into the hundreds of thousands.
Jonathan Budd is a great example of this, although he is one of the best recruiters of all time, he earns more than four times his actual Network Marketing income from his 'attraction marketing system'. Personally, I think that's great - just acknowledge what it is.
It's the same for Mike Dillard, Ann Seig, and other online MLM leaders - the system is the source of 75% or more of their profits.
The funny thing is, this is a truth that has gone on in the Network Marketing profession for the last 70 years. The first example of this was Amway, when Dexter Yager invented the first 'Network Marketing System'. That system paid Dexter Yager (and still does, today) more than 50 times his actual income from Amway.
Look at other examples in this profession - Mike Dillard with his 'Magnetic Sponsoring' and Randy Gage with his coaching, seminars, and CD courses. All of these gurus are profiting from the mass creation and promotion of information based educational products, which gives them a source of credibility to recruit and train that ordinary folks just don't have.
That being said, though, we have to be honest and admit that Randy Gage, Big 'Al' Schreider, and others earn more from their actual MLM company than Jonathan Budd does. This may change in the near future as technology and systems become more commonplace and more user friendly, so watch out. (Jonathan Budd is quite the leader, too, so it wouldn't suprise me if he passed up some of those guys).
Just keep this in mind - online people have a habit of lying and saying that traditional MLM strategies don't work anymore. That's complete B.S. and my entire first success in the MLM profession was built off of warm market, in person strategies. I graduated eventually to the internet because I like it better personally and I have an affinity for it, not necessarily because it's best for everyone. Still more than half of my team chooses to build through traditional means, and I support them in that regard and I know how to build up a local market through meetings, trainings, and event promotion just as well as I understand the intricacies of online marketing.
One Final Thought...
If you're going to get good at MLM and you want to make the most money possible, whether it's working with Jonathan Budd in his 7 Figure Networker system or some other route, it makes sense to use the most profitable system that you possibly can to build your business.
Also, it DOES matter what company you get involved with. I've seen more people get involved with 'Hype Wagons' in the last year than in the last seven years combined, mostly because of the combination of a down economy and the explosion of MLM over the past few years has created an environment when everyone and their mother is starting up a new MLM company, almost every week now. If you want to make the most money possible, learn about the system that I personally endorse and use, the only company that I will promote in 2009, and you want to learn how to sponsor more people, faster, than you ever thought possible, visit my website by clicking on the link below:
